Computerless ...

It was to good to be true. A few days after I had installed lightroom , my computer breaks down. Appereantly lightroom was updating the device drivers of my graphics card , but the it got stuck in the process. The screen went black and I didn't knew what was going on. I rebooted the computer but that wasn't such a smart thing to do. Result : a broken graphics card. They're coming to collect my computer and the card this tuesday. I wonder what it's going to cost me. I still have warranty on my computer but I hope it covers the incident. Otherwise , I'll just have to wait a little while longer for my DSLR.

Adobe Rules

Yes ! I finally got 2 new editing programs today. Photoshop cs 3 and Lightroom. I had cs 2 before and even though I just had a quick look at it (due to a lack of time) it seems not that much different than cs 2 , nicer design though. But the real nice program is Lightroom ! It's amazing how incredibly well thought out it is. And you can process your photos real fast in it too. Anyway it just saves you a lot of time. Instead of sitting behind your computer processing your photo's in PS or whatever program , you can now spend more time outside , in the studio , wherever , photographing.

Powerlines

I took this shot a couple of months ago. It was taken just 300 yards from my house or so , right next to a farm and some corn fields. There was nothing intresting to it straight out of the camera but after I did some post-processing I found the colors to be very special.

Summer job

Applied for a summer job a few days ago. After my pay i'll have enough money to purchase my DSLR camera with some lenses so I can ditch my crappy compact camera. I just started with photography and already it's a pain in the ass , for my wallet that is.
